My love for photography

I am really enjoying this new venture into the world of photography. I've always had this passion inside of me to photograph people but now I find myself wanting to take pictures of complete strangers just because....For example, last night my son had a soccer game and there was this little girl (probably around 3 years old) who was playing around in the dirt. She had a simple little sun dress on with high cowboy type boots, her hair was just hanging down draping her dirt covered face, but her expressions were so pure and childlike. She was just having fun and enjoying life...and me (with my camera strapped around my neck, because I'm supposed to be photographing my son playing soccer) found myself resisting the urge to just start snapping away as this little girl played. I know this may sound crazy to some, but that's what I'm referring to when I talk about my love for photography. In this situation, I resisted the urge to photograph this little girl, because I didn't know her parents and didn't want them to think I was crazy, but gosh I sure wanted to :) Well, I am really, really, really having so much fun with my photo sessions so far. It's funny because my clients will email me to let me know how excited they are about there upcoming photo shoot, not realizing that I'm even more excited to photograph there family or child. I'm super-excited about the 4 photo shoots that are scheduled for this weekend, which include 2 families, a 3 month old boy, and a senior girl.
